Tai Chi Chuan
Although Tai Chi was originally a Martial Art it is mainly practiced today as an excellent form of exercise with many health benefits. The words Tai Chi Chuan mean Supreme Ultimate Boxing, used as an exercise for health it would loosely translate as Supreme Ultimate Exercise or Skill. Qigong / Chi Gung
The Mother of all Chinese Internal systems and martial arts.
Qigong has been defined as Energy Work or Breath Work.
There are historical records indicating that some forms of Qigong/Chi Gung have been researched and practiced for over 4,000 years.
It's been found to be an excellent way to restore and promote health.
Qigong has been implemented successfully in hospitals in China
since the 1950's.
Baguazhang
This art is unusual in that it's practiced while walking on a circle. This is the main foundational exercise within the system and it is known as "Ding Shyr."
You will learn how to coordinate your circular movement with different "Palm Changes" while we change our direction on the circle. Eventually these palm changes reveal themselves to be sophisticated martial applications.
Hsing-i Chuan
Hsing-I is one of the oldest fighting arts in existence today. It was created by a famous general for use on the battlefield. Adapted from the spear it's very linear in movement and in it's application.
Hsing-i Chuan (pronounced shing yee} roughly translates to Shape Mind Boxing. It refers to the creation of a shape through the intention of the mind.
